In his thought-provoking talk\, Prof. Ajayi will challenge outdated narr atives that reduce Africa to its extractive industries\, offering instead a richer perspective on the continent’s dynamic human capital. He will also examine the complex legal and policy challenges involved in unlocking and s ustaining that potential.

About the speaker:
Dr. K onyin Ajayi is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)\, Partner at Olaniwun Aja yi LP in Lagos\, and Professor of Banking Law at Babcock University. A Harv ard- and Cambridge-trained lawyer and scholar\, Dr. Ajayi is widely recogni zed as counsel and advisor in high-stakes litigation and arbitration matter s. He sits on several boards and frequently contributes to national and con tinental policy reform. He is the author of several books and articles on l aw\, theology and politics.
