The Graduate Program Office of Admissions and Financial Aid administers all aspects of the admissions processes for Harvard Law School’s LL.M., S.J.D., and Visiting Scholar/Visiting Researcher programs, as well as the financial aid and billing for the LL.M. and S.J.D. programs.
All LL.M., S.J.D., and Visiting Scholar/Visiting Researcher (“VS/VR”) applicants to the Harvard Law School Graduate Program must use the online application. For the following programs, your completed application and all supporting documents must be received by the Graduate Program no later than the deadlines as outlined below:
Deadline: December 1, 2018, preferably by November 15, 2018 (for the LL.M. class beginning in Fall 2019)
The LL.M. online application is now open.

Deadline: April 1, 2019 (for S.J.D. candidacy beginning in Fall 2019)
The S.J.D. online application is now closed and will open in early February.
Visiting Scholar/Visiting Researcher Program
Deadline: April 15, 2019 (for applicants wishing to begin research in September 2019)
The Fall 2019 Visitors online application is now closed and will open in mid-January.
Deadline: September 15, 2019 (for applicants wishing to begin research in February 2020)
The Spring 2020 Visitors online application is now closed.
