2025 Wrapped: J.D. Admissions Prospective Student Outreach

In Fall 2025, members of the J.D. Admissions team visited numerous college campuses and held a wide variety of webinars, many of which included current students and representatives from our Student Services Offices. We welcomed prospective students to our on-campus information sessions where we had presentations by members of the Admissions Team, student Q&A panels, and guided tours of the campus led by current students.

In all, we had the highest average number of attendees per event since 2021 and connected with over 8,000 prospective students across all of our recruitment efforts!

2025 In-Person Recruitment Events

By Location:

We traveled to 15 states (Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Pennsylvania) and Washington, D.C.  

By Event Type:

We participated in various types of in-person events, including our On-Campus Information Sessions, Forums and Fairs, Joint Degree Events, University Campus Visits, and hosted two Live Podcast Tour events. Our University Campus Visits continue to be our most popular type of in-person events, and this year we visited 44 campuses across the country.

By Volume:

This year, we attended 82 in-person recruitment events. Our in-person visit to the Washington, D.C. LSAC Law School Forum yielded the highest turnout with over 200 prospective students stopping by our table.  Our visit to the University of Texas at Austin had the highest turnout among our campus visits with 146 students in attendance.

2025 Virtual Recruitment Events

By Event Type:

We continued to host our traditional virtual recruitment events, such as our J.D. Admissions Q&A sessions and Student Experience Webinars, while also hosting new virtual initiatives. In partnership with Student Financial Services and the Office of Career Services, we reached over 380 prospective students for these respective Q&As. Our other new initiative, Student Organization Nights, enabled prospective students to meet with current HLS students. Each Student Organization Night featured a sample of the 80+ student organizations and connected more than 200 prospective students.

By Volume:

Our J.D. Admissions Q&A sessions remained our best-attended type of virtual events with a total of 1,927 attendees across all sessions. The LSAC Digital Law School Forum yielded our highest turnout and we reached over 460 attendees. The October J.D. Admissions Q&A Session yielded our second-highest turnout, with 457 attendees logging on. Our September J.D. Admissions Q&A Session followed close behind with 444 attendees logging on.
