Dissertation

Coding Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Agents, Litigation and Legal Practice

My dissertation aims to identify the strategies used by international lawyers to preserve or limit privileges to pollute. This will be done through a series of case studies on landmark climate litigation procedures and doctrinal research in different fields of international law. This research will contribute to the climate change law debate by identifying the privilege to pollute as a complex legal arrangement and showing how legal practice in international law constitutes it.
