Liam P. Hardy

Liam P. Hardy is a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Before joining the court, he served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U. S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel and as a litigation partner in the Washington D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Judge Hardy served as a law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States, Chief Judge David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, and Judge Margaret A. Ryan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Judge Hardy holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a B.S.E. from Princeton University.
