Professor Diane Rosenfeld, author of The Bonobo Sisterhood: Revolution Through Female Alliance will be joined by Meg Stone, the Executive Director of IMPACT Boston and author of The Cost of Fear: Why Most Safety Advice is Sexist and How We Can Stop Gender-Based Violence. Stone’s book charts a course for how we can make safety choices that expand our worlds while also contributing to the fight for social justice. Together, they will discuss the political, social, and personal importance of self defense as a primary tool for change. Lunch will be served.
