Data determines how cultures are reflected in AI and the people who are empowered by its development.
Coinciding with Open Access Week, Institutional Data Initiative at Harvard Law School Library is hosting a conversation between Professor Ruth Okediji and Assistant Dean Amanda Watson to discuss opportunities and hurdles for greater diversity in data and its critical importance for the development of AI. The conversation will explore these topics with a particular focus on the importance of data accessibility for African representation and sovereignty in AI.
