This lunch panel will examine how the tension between national sovereignty and international arbitration impacts both states and investors. Panelists will discuss how states preserve sovereign rights while meeting international obligations, and how investors navigate challenges such as regulatory changes, public policy defenses, and political risks. The discussion will explore the evolving dynamics of sovereignty in arbitration and its implications for global dispute resolution. Lunch will be provided.
