Judge Daniel A. Bress of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will join his future clerk, Myles McKnight ‘27, for a discussion on what really divides judges in hard cases, tensions (or not!) between different categories of “discretion” in judicial work, lessons from the Scalia chambers, the Judge’s path from big law to the bench, clerking, and more. Lunch will be served.
