Josh Friedman is Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Co-CEO of Canyon Partners, LLC, a multi-strategy hedge fund with $28bn in assets under management. For 35+ years, Canyon Partners has employed a deep value, credit intensive approach across corporate situations, structured credit, and direct real estate lending and investing. Mr. Friedman is a graduate of Harvard College, Oxford University (Marshall Scholar), Harvard Business School, and Harvard Law School. He is a recipient of the Institutional Investor’s “Lifetime Achievement” Award and serves on the boards of the Harvard Management Company, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others.
