Global Supply Chain Resilience — The Rise of “Made in America”
This timely talk examines how Taiwanese firms are driving the “Made in America” revival, strategically reshaping the US industry and innovation through cross-Pacific collaboration. Attendees will gain comprehensive insight from three expert perspectives: Jason Hsu, former Taiwan Legislator and Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, will address U.S. policy direction and strategic industrial resurgence, focusing on how AI, manufacturing, and supply chain resilience are central to geopolitical competition. Chen-Tso (Wesley) Chu, former General Counsel at Foxconn Technology Group and Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, will analyze the conditions for “Made in America” from a technology and policy perspective, specifically Taiwan’s strategic role in AI infrastructure and core technology firewall strategies. Finally, Gary Chen, Partner at Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law, will offer practical legal and regulatory insights for Taiwanese enterprises investing in the U.S., covering cross-border compliance and investment challenges. This event is essential for understanding the confluence of policy, legal, and supply chain dynamics underpinning the new wave of US industrial growth.
