An Evening with Justice Stephen Breyer

Justice Breyer, associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (1994–2022), will join HGSE Academic Dean Martin West for a conversation on the role of civic education in preparing young people for democratic life. The discussion will explore what students should understand about the three branches of government, how the law shapes education, and how schools can foster thoughtful civic participation.
