Join the Harvard Law AI Student Association, the Cambridge Boston Alignment Initiative, and the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology for a lunchtime panel on AI and elections! Lunch will be provided.

More than 65 jurisdictions around the world—including the United States—will be holding elections in 2024. At the same time, we have seen unprecedented progress in AI over the past 18 months. This lunch panel will bring together experts on AI and election law to discuss the impacts of generative AI systems on democracy, how AI tools affect the information environment, and what governments and civil society can do to protect elections in 2024.

Speakers include Matt Gentzel (former Director of Research, National Security Commission on AI), Abi Olvera (Senior Fellow, Council on Strategic Risks), and Prof. Nicholas Stephanopoulos (Harvard Law).

Note: this event will be Chatham House rules.
