CS50’s Head of Online Education Initiatives
Doug Lloyd is CS50’s Head of Online Education Initiatives. In this role he coordinates CS50’s courses on edX and serves as the Head Teaching Fellow for the courses at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education. Doug co-teaches Computer Science for Lawyers at Harvard Law School Executive Education.
From 2015–19 Doug served as Senior Preceptor in Computer Science at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education. He worked alongside Professor David J. Malan on CS50, Harvard’s introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming. In addition, Doug taught or co-taught courses at Harvard Summer School and Harvard’s John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Computer Science in 2009, Doug attended Northeastern University School of Law and graduated in 2012. After a few years in solo practice, Doug retired from the practice of law and returned to teaching.
