Exam Type: In Class

This course provides an overview of the law of contracts. Core topics include consideration and other bases for enforcing promises, defenses to enforcement, interpretation, conditions, breach, and remedies. The course also introduces relevant developments in the law of restitution, and situates American doctrine within a broader international and comparative frame.
