Abstract: “Outsider scholarship,” we hear, “is characterized by a commitment to the interests of people of color and/or women, by rejection of abstraction and dispassionate ‘objectivity,’ and by a preference for narrative and other engaged forms of discourse.” Off the bat, we think: “Delgado!”, “Rodrigo!” Rightly, we raise our hats and cheer.
