Class Remembrances

Cassandra “Sandy” Q. Butts

Kaye L. Pestaina remembers:

Remembering my dear friend, Cassandra (“Sandy”) Butts. Happy to have had the privilege of knowing her. My law school memories are of her driving her Honda Civic down Mass. Ave., our BLSA work, my neighbor at Holden Green apartment, and buddy for classes we took together at the Kennedy school. Lucky to have spent time with her in the DC area for over two decades after law school, through her time on Capitol Hill to the White House and beyond. Miss her spot on book and music suggestions, and her calm and loving demeanor.

Sherry F. Colb

Steve Heinen remembers:

I was so saddened to hear of Sherry’s passing a few years ago. I remember her as a kind, thoughtful and winsome personality who was always so pleasant and engaging to be around and who always had deep and profund things to say. I have nothing but warm and pleasant memories of her. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Jodi Misher Peikin

Michael Joachim remembers:

Jodi was such a warm, friendly, and kind person. I always enjoyed seeing her during our law school years. I’m glad to have known her and grateful that we were Section 4 classmates.

David Levy remembers:

Jodi will be remembered for her kindness, her intelligence, her beauty, and her laugh.
