    Located on the 4th floor of Langdell Hall, the Library’s Caspersen Room will have a special exhibit on display: “Rogues, Vagabonds, and sturdie Beggers”: Poor Laws of England and America, 1597-1948. The exhibit explores 350 years of welfare legislation in England and the United States. Beginning with the Elizabethan Poor Laws and ending with the New Deal in the US and the National Assistance Act in the UK, the exhibit is organized around four themes: the Tudor Poor Laws, the 1834 Poor Law Amendment Act, Poor Laws in the American Context, and Perspectives on Poor Laws

  • 10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Harvard Law School Library, Root Room special pop-up exhibit

    Located on the 4th floor of the Langdell Library, the Root Room’s special pop-up exhibit will only be available on Friday from 10:30am – 12:00 pm, featuring photographs, posters, student publications, and other items that celebrate the history of the HLS Latino community.

  • 12:30 – 2:00 pm: Bienvenida: Welcome Luncheon

    Reconnect with fellow alumni, build new connections, and enjoy an afternoon of conversation, culture, and celebration as we kick off the weekend together.

  • 2:30 – 4:00 pm: Plenary Session
  • 4:30 – 6:00 pm: Plenary Session: Institute to End Mass Incarceration, Andrew Crespo ’08
  • 6:00 – 9:30 pm: Dinner Reception: La Familia Reconnects

    A Night to Reconnect & Celebrate — Experience an evening of vibrant flavors, cocktails, live chef stations, and decadent desserts as all Latino and HLS alumni and friends are invited to come together to honor community, connection, and kick off an unforgettable weekend celebration. ¡Salud!

    Please note: This is a reception-style, non-seated dinner event. Seating will be available throughout the evening, though this is not a fully seated dinner.
