Campus Safety, Emergencies, Health & First Aid
Campus Building Access & Event Name Badges Policy
- At Harvard Law School, all exterior doors are locked for the safety and security of community members (faculty, staff, students, and guests). To gain access to buildings, students, faculty, and staff are issued a Harvard University identification card (HUID) to tap at the card readers at each building.
- During Alumni Reunion Weekends and Affinity Celebrations, select doors will be temporarily unlocked; however, those doors will be staffed by the Campus Safety Securitas team. Alumni are required to wear and make visible their Alumni/Celebration Weekend name badge to gain access to the buildings. Alumni and guests will only be allowed in authorized buildings.
- Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself and adhere to the Event Name Badge policy. The safety of the HLS community is a shared responsibility, and doing your part contributes to our collective wellbeing. We look forward to having you on campus.
