Kristin FlowerProblem Solving Workshop Administrative Director/Academic Affairs Specialist
Kristin manages a variety of projects for OAA including institutional reporting, 1L Reading Groups, Student Writing Prizes, and serves as the school's liaison to the ABA and AALS. She also serves as Administrative Director of the First-Year Problem Solving Workshop Program. Prior to joining the Office of Academic Affairs, Kristin worked in the HLS Dean's Office and before that as a Faculty Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Music from UMass Amherst.
Thomas GracaAssistant Dean of Academic and Faculty Affairs
Tom Graca is the Assistant Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs at Harvard Law School. He has over fifteen years of experience in higher education teaching, research, and administration. Tom has a law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from Texas A&M University at Commerce.
Lisa LangoneAcademic Affairs Coordinator
Lisa brings a communications background to OAA, possessing a unique blend of agency, government, corporate and non-profit sector experience. She started her career at a top 10 global PR firm, working in both the U.K. and Boston offices. Most recently she was a spokesperson for the Massachusetts Port Authority, where she was a trusted source of information 24/7 for Boston Logan International Airport, Cruiseport Boston, the Tobin Bridge, and other properties in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Prior to that, she spent time in the Washington D.C. Press Office of Sen. Ted Kennedy. Before that, she served on the presidential campaign for Sen. John Kerry, as part of his National Advance Staff. Lisa holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University.
Miriam LeighData Administrator
Miriam Leigh manages faculty information, the content of the online faculty directory available to the public and the internal web portal that faculty use for their administrative tasks. Before joining the Office of Academic Affairs, she worked in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and in the Harvard College Library. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
Helene UysalAssistant Director of Academic Affairs
Helene Tingle Uysal joined the Academic Affairs team in fall of 2014. She is involved with the Programs of Study, assisting with faculty appointments and visitors, and managing special projects. Previously Helene managed academic affairs programs within Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Helene has a graduate degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont, and has extensively studied architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright. Later Helene received a degree in Management from Harvard Extension School.
