Abstracts Due October 15, 2017 The Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School is pleased to announce plans for our 2018 annual conference, entitled: "Beyond Disadvantage: Disability, Law, and Bioethics."

A Mandatory for students traveling with HLS funding, and strongly recommended for other students traveling abroad.

There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Pound 101 for all students who are planning to register for the Fall 2017 Trial Advocacy Workshop. All students interested in learning about this course or possibly enrolling in the future are also welcome to attend. At the meeting, Professor Ronald S. Sullivan Jr. will discuss what you need to do to be prepared for Fall TAW. If you have any questions, please contact Carol M. Flores TAW Coordinator at cflores@law.harvard.edu.

The Program on International Financial Systems is hosting our annual Latin America - US Symposium from November 17th to November 19th. We are seeking student volunteers to assist with the administration of the event. Volunteers will help with directions, Q&A, and other general functions. ILSP: LSC travel grant applications are due November 7. ILSP: LSC invites Harvard Law School students to submit travel grant proposals to secure funding for proposed research trips related to work on or the study of Islamic law. All projects associated with Islamic law or with the legal systems of Muslim countries qualify, internships included. The Program distributes a limited number of awards on a competitive basis, up to a maximum of $1,000 per student, and can be combined with funding from other sources. HLS Indoor Soccer (Futsal) is back! We play with a smaller ball than traditional soccer, smaller goals, no goalkeepers, and four players on each side.
