Research Assistance for Project on Solitary Confinement in Immigration Detention

April 16, 2021

Research Assistants are needed for the summer and fall to work on a project involving solitary confinement of immigrants. RAs will evaluate data gathered through Freedom of Information Act Requests and state Privacy Act Requests, conduct legal research, and write memos exploring potential federal and state remedies available, particularly to immigrant detainees who are trauma survivors. Interested students should send a short 250 word statement of interest and resume to Sabi Ardalan (sardalan@law.harvard.edu) and Phil Torrey (ptorrey@law.harvard.edu).
