New Library Exhibit: Kids in the Collection: Prison, Work, and Play

Kids in the Collection will be on view daily 9 to 5 in the Caspersen Room, Langdell Hall, from April through July 2017.
New Phone Transition and Set Up
Harvard is transitioning to a new phone service called Harvard Phone (your phone number stays the same). Sign up for a training, download user guides, and learn more about signing in to your new Harvard Phone account.
Long Term Disability Special Enrollment and Carrier Change

Harvard's Group Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan carrier is changing. Beginning June 1, Liberty Mutual will administer Harvard's Group LTD Plan. If you are not enrolled in LTD, Liberty Mutual is offering a one-time special enrollment period from April 24 – May 5, during which you can enroll without evidence of insurability.
Volunteer / Attend LSC People’s Law School 2017: Know Your Rights

The Legal Services Center is seeking volunteers for the fifth annual People's Law School – an open-house event featuring a series of 1-hour "Know Your Rights" workshops on a variety of important and timely legal topics.
Save the Date: HLS Dean Search Discussion

All staff are invited to join in a conversation about the HLS Dean Search. Members of the Faculty Advisory Group will host the discussion on Tuesday, April 11 from 1:00-2:00pm in Austin 100 North.
Room Release: 2017-18
Beginning at 9am on Monday, April 24th the HLS community will be able to book select rooms for the period of August 12, 2017 through August 10, 2018.
PeopleSoft System Changes Coming Soon
Beginning April 3, Harvard faculty and staff will experience a new look and feel when they log into PeopleSoft, the University HR system to view paychecks, make benefits elections each fall, report time worked and absences, and participate in performance management.

Performance Evaluation Process – Goals are due in PeopleSoft by March 3

If you have not done so already, please enter your FY17 goals in PeopleSoft before Friday, March 3, 2017. We've included instructions on how to enter goals for employees and managers.
New Dining Options at Harkness Cafe

Box’t: Slow Food Fast presents classic comfort food in a new and exciting fashion. Chopped fresh, seasonal vegetables are quickly sautéed with full-flavored protein (vegetarian options are available as well), then topped with a drizzle of finishing sauce and crunchy toppings.
HLS Event Management System (EMS) Maintenance
On Wednesday, February 1, between 8:00am and 9:00am, ITS will be performing maintenance on the HLS Event Management System (EMS). The HLS EMS system and the “myrooms.law.harvard.edu” room reservation website will not be available during this time.

New Concur Travel and Expense System Is Now Live!

Concur Office hours will be held from now until March to answer any questions you may have as you start your first reimbursement and Citi payment requests in the new system.
New Spam management system starting January 4
We are replacing the existing McAfee spam e-mail management system with a new product called ProofPoint. This will function in primarily the same fashion as McAfee does.
Spring Term 2017 Room Release

In order to import the Spring Term 2017 academic schedule, the HLS Space Scheduling System will be off-line from 9am Monday, January 9, 2017 through 9am on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. No full service room requests may be placed during this outage; please plan accordingly.
