We are excited to announce that starting on Monday, May 14, there will be new and improved changes to PeopleSoft absence requests and approvals. The new pages are easy to use and mobile friendly! We hope this will be a significant improvement for your user experience.
A Ready for Retirement session on 4/30 will provide participants who are thinking about retirement in the next couple years with a comprehensive review of retirement readiness. The session will help those nearing retirement identify and answer the most important questions.
On Class Day, we recognize members of the HLS community who have made outstanding contributions during their time at the school. As part of the selection process, you may nominate multiple students for the various awards. The deadline for submission is Friday April 20 before 5:00 p.m. Awards will be presented to students on Wednesday May 23 during the Class Day Ceremony.

The HLS Library is hosting tours for the HLS community, and we hope you’ll join to learn more about services and resources for faculty and staff, and to get to know one of the most beautiful spaces on campus. Due to demand, we’re offering more tour opportunities in the spring and early summer.
On Tuesday, March 13, 2018 between 5:00 am and 7:00 am, HUIT will be conducting routine maintenance to the campus wide wireless network infrastructure. During this period, wireless network connectivity will be unavailable for all of HLS.

Mindfulness at Work is a series of courses and programs that range from one-hour introductions to in-depth multi-week long courses to topic-focused sessions to managers-only programs. Available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff, these courses and programs are designed to bring the benefits of mindfulness to people in all corners of the university.

Harvard Heroes celebrates staff across the University and at every level for their outstanding work, leadership, and excellence in support of Harvard's mission. The nomination period for Harvard Heroes 2018 is now open, and you may make your nomination using an easy online form. Nominations will be accepted through March 9.

The HLS library is thrilled announce that we have, in collaboration with the Harvard Library, secured a subscription to the digital Wall Street Journal. Digital membership is available to all current Harvard students, faculty, and staff and includes unlimited access to the Journal via WSJ.com or the WSJ app.

In order to import the Spring Term 2018 academic schedule, the HLS Space Scheduling System will be off-line from 9am Monday, January 8, through 9am on Tuesday, January 16. No full service room requests may be placed during this outage; please plan accordingly.
The HLS Joint Council is excited to celebrate the season with the Eighth Annual Dessert Potluck at this year’s Holiday Party, on December 13. Anyone who brings in a dessert will be entered into a raffle for several great prizes!
