Spring RA Opportunity in Health Law & Policy Clinic

The Health Law and Policy Clinic (HLPC) of the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) of Harvard Law School is seeking a paid Research Assistant (RA). HLPC is currently working with the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) to collect data regarding Medicaid coverage of hepatitis C treatment. The data will be used to update HLPC’s joint project with NVHR, Hepatitis C: State of Medicaid Access, which tracks Medicaid policies in 52 jurisdictions and leverages its findings to promote and increase access to lifesaving treatment for hepatitis C. HLPC is seeking to hire an RA to review state Medicaid websites for eight states, identifying and analyzing policy documents to determine whether specific coverage restrictions for hepatitis C treatment are in place.

No health law knowledge or experience is necessary.
Expected hours per week: 10
Desired dates: This opportunity is expected to start as soon as possible and last through the first week of May, considering student finals schedules. All work will be conducted remotely.
