The Program in Islamic Law, headed under Faculty Director Professor Intisar Rabb, is seeking a student to serve as a student fellow for publications. The Program’s multiple publications including a peer-reviewed journal, print book series, online platforms, and digital special collections. Responsibilities include preparation of regularly released publications such as the monthly newsletter, publications pipeline coordination (from submissions intake to publication distribution and marketing), copy and style editing, report and grant writing support, community network development, and performing research on new developments and/or digital humanities tools that may augment this field of study.

The position is open to Harvard Law School (HLS) students, as well as Harvard graduate students. Work is anticipated to be 10-15 hours per week. The student fellow will be compensated at the standard research-assistant rate [or, alternatively may opt to receive up to 2 credits each semester].

Position term runs through academic year 2020-2021. There is a possibility of renewal dependent on need and performance.
