The Clinical Equity and Racial Justice Committee (CERJ) subcommittee on Clinical Self-Assessments is seeking an RA to assist with the finalization of a best practices document that outlines how clinics can align their policies and teaching with anti-racist commitments. This document is intended for internal use by HLS clinics during AY 2021-2022, but may be edited for presentation/publication at a later date. Involved clinicians include Liz Solar (OCP), Aminta Ossom (IHRC), Crisanne Hazen (Child Advocacy), Destini Aguero (LSC), Kevin Costello (CHLPI), and Jessica Fjeld (Cyberlaw).

Start date: late August or early September
End date: October (flexible)
Time commitment: ~5 hours/week
Anticipated tasks: editing document and citations for content and format, soliciting and coordinating input from other CERJ members, other as needed
Desired qualifications: strong background in writing for a general audience and familiarity with key concepts in racial justice advocacy and/or DEI work. Clinical experience is a plus.
