Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue

Nairobi, Kenya

Sasha will work at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue in Nairobi, Kenya, which is a non-profit diplomatic organization that deploys advisors and teams to support negotiation and mediation processes in foreign crises. She will be analyzing the Centre’s interventions in the Central African Republic, Mali, South Sudan and Somalia to develop tools for the Centre’s operations. Sasha has supported experts and provided technical assistance on constitutional issues as a legal fellow at the UN Office of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Yemen and the UN Support to Participatory Constitution Building in Nepal. At Harvard, Sasha worked as a teaching assistant in the Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program as well as the Harvard Negotiation Institute. Sasha has a B.A., summa cum laude, in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Certificat de Driot Transnational (Certificate in Transnational Law) from the Université de Genève. Before law school, she traveled and researched with delegations of dignitaries as a Rapporteur for the Commission on Iraqi Refugees and for The Asia Foundation.
