Katie Cion will be joining the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court and Appellate Program in Washington, D.C., where she will focus on litigating issues of rape and sexual assault in prisons, jails, and detention centers. During law school, Katie served as the Developments Editor of the Harvard Law Review, overseeing an issue on healthcare and legal rights and publishing a chapter on COVID-19 and prison conditions. Katie also served as a student attorney in the Democracy and Rule of Law and Consumer Protection and Predatory Lending clinics, and spent her summers at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and the Legal Aid Society’s Decarceration Project. Katie is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in Politics.
