Alexandra Wolfson will spend her fellowship year at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice in Durham, North Carolina where she will work to strengthen voting rights and facilitate individuals’ ability to vote by absentee ballot. Alexandra will also engage in redistricting litigation and work with community groups to facilitate marginalized communities’ access to the ballot. During her time in law school, Alexandra represented clients at risk of homelessness and facing housing instability due to domestic violence with the Harvard Housing Law Clinic. She also conducted research on lowering prescription drug prices with the Harvard Health Law and Police Clinic. Alexandra served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, Co-President of the Harvard Law School ACLU, and Director of External Affairs of the Women’s Law Association. She spent her summers during law school at the Fair Elections Center and Protect Democracy. Alexandra graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in history.
