Clinical Professor Esme Caramello, Faculty Director of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and a Commissioner of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission, seeks to hire summer RAs to assist with research on a variety of access to justice and affordable housing issues, including access to justice and eviction moratorium campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic; best practices for access to “remote courts” for people with barriers like low literacy, limited English proficiency, and reduced access to technology; and expanding access to counsel in eviction cases.
