There will be two mock trials related to patent law in the Ames Courtroom on September 24 + 25. In addition, there will be a discussion following both mock trials which will focus on career advice and advice for presenting oral arguments. The events will both run from 1:30p – 3:30p.
SCHEDULE: New Hampshire District Court Judge Paul Barbadoro Judging Mock Argument and Speaking with Students | Ames Courtroom Monday, September 24, 1:30 p.m. – 3:10 p.m. The Honorable Paul Barbadoro of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire will hear mock claim construction arguments by students in the Harvard Law School Patent Trial Advocacy course in the Ames Courtroom. Following the arguments, Judge Barbadoro will speak about his career and offer advice for oral argument. All are welcome to watch the arguments and participate in the post-argument discussion with Judge Barbadoro. Massachusetts District Court Judge O’Toole Judging Mock Argument and Speaking with Students | Ames Courtroom Tuesday, September 25, 1:30 p.m. – 3:10 p.m. The Honorable George A. O’Toole, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts will hear mock claim construction arguments by students in the Harvard Law School Patent Trial Advocacy course in the Ames Courtroom. Following the arguments, Judge O’Toole will speak about his career and offer advice for oral argument.
