Megan Field will spend her fellowship year at American Oversight, using public records laws to expose and fight corruption in the executive branch. During law school, Megan interned with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office (Consumer Protection Division), Greater Boston Legal Services (Housing Division), and with McDermott, Will & Emery (Litigation). She also served as a student attorney in Harvard’s Criminal Justice Institute, winning her first jury trial and securing an acquittal for her client as a 3L. While at Harvard, Megan served as Co-President of the school’s ACLU student chapter. Before law school, Megan worked for Virginia Delegate Eileen Filler-Corn and U.S. Senator Tim Kaine. Megan received her undergraduate degree from St. John’s College.
