Apple has officially released Macintosh OS 10.13 (High Sierra), and it is now available for download via the App Store. HLS Information Technology Services is currently advising against upgrading to this new version. It is not currently supported in our environment or by some of our software vendors. Some software, such as the Exam4 software, will not function properly in this new operating system.
This update may also appear as an update in the App Store as a “free upgrade,” listed above the standard software updates. Installing the standard updates will not automatically install the new operating system, but please avoid the “Update All” option at this time. ITS will send another email when this new operating system is supported.
