UPDATE: Exam4 now supports MacOS 10.15 Catalina. HLS Information Technology Services is no longer advising against upgrading to this new version. Documentation on how to upgrade your Mac’s operating system can be found on Apple’s website.

Dear Students,

Apple has released Macintosh OS 10.15 (“Catalina”), and it is now available for download via the App Store.  HLS Information Technology Services is currently advising against upgrading to this new version. Some software, such as the Exam4 application, will not function properly on this new operating system.

This update may also appear as an update in the App Store as a “free upgrade,” listed above the standard software updates.  Installing the standard updates will not automatically install the new operating system, but please avoid the “Update All” option at this time. ITS will update our community support blog when Mac OS 10.15 is supported for Exam4 and other student software.
