Jina John has been awarded a fellowship to serve at the New York Attorney General’s Office. She will join the Bureau of Internet and Technology working on protecting consumers from digital threats. Jina has worked on consumer protection issues through the Financial Distress Research Project and a clinical placement with the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office. During law school, Jina was involved with the Tenant Advocacy Project, Harvard Law and Policy Review, HLS Democrats, American Constitutional Society, and Community Enterprise Project. Additionally, she co-founded the HLS Homelessness Coalition, which works extensively with the Y2Y Harvard Square shelter. Prior to law school, Jina worked at the Global Poverty Project, a New York-based NGO dedicated to eradicating extreme poverty. Jina has a B.S. in Business and Political Economy from New York University.
