Jessica Ranucci has been awarded a fellowship to work with the New York Legal Assistance Group’s Special Litigation Unit to litigate on behalf of debt collection defendants in New York City civil court. After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2016, Jessica served as a law clerk to the Honorable Allyne R. Ross of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. During law school, Jessica worked at the Legal Services Center’s Project on Predatory Student Lending and interned at Public Citizen Litigation Group, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the United State Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Jessica previously served as the Founding Youth Program Director and the Interim Executive Director of the Vietnamese-American Initiative for Development, a community development corporation in Dorchester. She holds a bachelors degree in Social Studies from Harvard College.
