Globalization of Feminist Legal Thought: A Case of South Korea, 1961-2020
My dissertation chronicles the history of legal feminism in South Korea since 1961 as part of a global history of legal thought. The goal is to make intelligible different legal feminisms as they globalized, split from, and merged with one another and to critically examine how they played out in domestic law reforms. What I am interested in exploring is thus not limited to their differences as feminist ideologies and includes their differences as legal thought.
