Dear HLS Faculty and Staff,

Beginning at 8PM on Friday, April 13th, through 7AM on Monday, April 16th, Verizon will be conducting phone system maintenance.  Please see the following details concerning Harvard Phone (VoIP) service availability during the maintenance window:

  • Voice and voicemail services will be available with the exception of multiple brief sporadic interruptions when phones re-register.  In progress calls will not be interrupted.
  • Jabber service will be unavailable on Saturday, April 15th.
  • The Harvard Phone Portal will be inaccessible from 8PM on Friday, April 13th through 7AM on Monday, April 16th.

ITS will be monitoring to be sure all devices re-register properly.  If you have any issues with your phone after this maintenance window, please contact the HLS ITS Service Desk at 5-0722 or
