This summer, the Harvard Environmental Law Review will be accepting student writing pieces for the upcoming year.
Students may submit notes, case comments, and blog posts.
Student notes (10,000–15,000 words) are full-length academic articles discussing an aspect of environmental law. HELR will be accepting notes from August 1 through August 15.
Case comments (5,000–7,000) discuss a recent important case in environmental law—typically a new Supreme Court decision or high-profile circuit court decision. Students should express interest by June 30, submit a proposal by July 15, and, if accepted, submit the comment by September 1.
Blog posts (500–1,000 words) are short pieces that offer original insight on timely issues in environmental law. Blog posts are reviewed on a rolling basis.
