Major Nicole Provo is a Reserve Staff Attorney for the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Legal Operations Agency Personnel Law Branch, Civil Law and Policy (JACP). JACP provides legal counsel and assistance to the Air Staff, Space Force Staff, and elements of the Secretariat on matters related to military personnel law, government ethics (Standards of Conduct), travel and transportation, and information access law and policy.
Major Provo received her commission as an Air Force Judge Advocate through the Direct Appointment Program in August 2014, and entered active duty in January 2015. Major Provo has served as a Chief of Military Justice, Chief of Civil Law, and Chief of Operations Law at JB Charleston and Hanscom AFB. Major Provo is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. She lives in Winchester, MA with her family, and spends her spare time advising nonprofit organizations and attending baseball games.
