Emily Nash is a lecturer on law teaching First-Year Legal Research and Writing. She is also a practicing litigator and senior associate at Foley Hoag LLP, based in Boston. Her practice areas include civil litigation with a focus on representing higher education institutions and professionals; white collar and government investigations; and a pro bono practice focused on civil rights, representation of incarcerated persons, and access to reproductive health care. Emily served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Denise J. Casper in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She graduated from Harvard Law School in 2016. While in law school, she was a member of the Board of Student Advisers and the HLS Parody.
