Visiting Assistant Professor of Law
Avlana Eisenberg teaches and writes about the law and practice of criminal punishment. She is an assistant professor at the Florida State University College of Law, and in 2018-19 will be a Visiting Professor of Law at Boston College Law School and Harvard Law School.
Eisenberg's work has been selected for the Harvard/Stanford/Yale Junior Faculty Forum and her recent publications have appeared in the Michigan Law Review, the UCLA Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the Southern California Law Review. Before entering law teaching, she was a litigation associate at Jenner & Block LLP in Washington, D.C. and a pro bono fellow at the D.C. Public Defender Service. Eisenberg holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Humanities from Yale College.
