Jennifer Selendy is a founding partner of Selendy Gay PLLC. Jennifer represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes and also specializes in complex defense work. She is frequently tapped for sensitive internal and governmental investigations into antitrust, financial misconduct, and employment-related matters. She has represented private equity and investment companies in precedent-setting litigation, represents renewable energy companies and related interests in cutting edge litigation aimed at protecting competition in power generation for the benefit of consumers, and has extensive expertise in RICO, bankruptcy, domestic and international arbitration, and cross-border disputes. Jennifer maintains an active public interest practice, focusing on poverty and women’s rights, climate change, and education.
Philippe Selendy is also a founding partner of Selendy Gay PLLC. Philippe has recovered more than $36 billion for clients. These successes include an unprecedented $25 billion in trial victories and settlements for U.S. taxpayers stemming from residential mortgage-backed securities suits brought against the world’s largest banks. Philippe has over 25 years of experience in complex commercial litigation with particular expertise in securities, financial products, contracts, and antitrust disputes. Philippe’s significant matters include a 2023 trial win of $855 million for Cerberus Capital Management in an esoteric financing dispute against CIBC; the ongoing representation of Fortis in a $2 billion action against Johnson & Johnson arising from an acquisition of a robotics surgical platform; and as lead counsel representing the Federal Housing Finance Agency across its entire platform of residential mortgage-backed securities litigation against 18 major banks.
