 itsan Plitmam.</p><p>Dr. Shereshevsky will discuss recent cases in the Isra
 eli Supreme Court in the context of the war in Gaza and how the Court’s app
 roach can be explained through broader discussions of the application of in
 ternational law in domestic courts. Specifically\, he will examine these ca
 ses against the backdrop of the various international proceedings related t
 o the war\, as well as the recent domestic tensions between the executive b
 ranch and the judiciary.</p><p>Dr. Yahli Shereshevsky is an Associate Profe
 ssor at the University of Haifa Law School. He was previously a post-doctor
 al fellow at the Federmann Cyber Security Reserach Center\, the Minerva Cen
 ter for the Rule of Law under Extreme Conditions\, and a Grotius Research S
 cholar at the University of Michigan Law School. Yahli specializes in inter
 national law\, focusing on international humanitarian law\, international l
 awmaking\, international legal theory\, war and technology\, and internatio
 nal criminal law.</p><p>Yahli received his PhD from the Hebrew University o
 f Jerusalem\, where he was a Hans-Guth Dreyfus Fellow for Conflict Resoluti
 on and the Law and was enrolled in the Hoffman Leadership and Responsibilit
 y Fellowship Program. Yahli holds an LLB in Law and the <em>“Amirim”</em> I
 nterdisciplinary Honors Program for Outstanding Students (summa cum laude) 
 from the Hebrew University. He clerked for the Honorable Deputy Chief Justi
 ce Eliezer Rivlin of the Supreme Court of Israel. Yahli’s work has been pub
 lished in leading journals including the European Journal of International 
 Law\, the Virginia Journal of International Law\, The Michigan Journal of I
 nternational Law\, and the Journal of International Criminal Justice.</p><p
