 Executive Director of IMPACT Boston and author of The Cost of Fear: Why Mos
 t Safety Advice is Sexist and How We Can Stop Gender-Based Violence which w
 as called was called a "deeply needed resource that expands rather than dim
 inishes options for women" by Booklist. Stone's second book\, "Don't Fight 
 Back" and 10 Other Myths About Crime\, Personal Safety\, and Gender-based V
 iolence comes out in May of this year. These books chart a course for how w
 e can make safety choices that expand our worlds while also contributing to
  the fight for social justice. Together\, they will discuss the political\,
  social\, and personal importance of self-defense as a primary tool for cha
