This conversation will explore how the rise of legalized sp orts betting has created a new public health frontier that intersects with the law. Panelists will examine the parallels between sports betting and ot her industries—such as tobacco and fast food—that have posed systemic risks to public well-being. They will also discuss emerging efforts to address t hese harms through federal reforms like the SAFE Bet Act and ongoing litiga tion against major companies\, including DraftKings.
