Judge Micah W. J. Smith ('06) of the U.S. District Court for th e District of Hawaii previously worked at O'Melveny & Myers and as a federa l prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Offices in the Southern District of New York and the District of Hawaii. He also clerked for the U.S. Court of App eals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Hear from thi s judge about his work and clerking and ask questions in a face-to-face\, s mall group setting. Through your presence\, you can express interest that c ould help you if you choose to apply for his clerkship in the future. Even if you are not interested in working for the particular judge or court\, si mply learn more about lawyering\, judging\, and clerking\, which could help you with other judges.
