Thomson\, of the Supreme Court of New Mexico\, previously served as a state trial judge in the First Judicial District\, in the Office of the New Mexico Attorney General as a litigation attorney and later as Deputy Attorney General\, and as a solo pr actitioner. He also clerked for United States District Judge Bruce D. Black \, District of New Mexico.
