Justice Anar Rathod Patel joins us from the Supreme Court for the State of New York\, Commercial Division\, a court created “to provi de an efficient and predictable forum for resolution of complex\, high stak es business disputes” in New York. This court offers unique clerkship oppor tunities to applicants interested in corporate law. Prior to her assignment to this court\, Justice Patel served in the Ninth Judicial District presid ing over civil cases in front of the Supreme Court of the State of New York \, was Counsel in the Litigation Department at Simpson Thacher\, and taught legal writing at Columbia.
Hear from this judge about her work and c lerking and ask questions in a face-to-face\, small group setting.
